Good cars for the money.
Not as quick as people make them out to be, rattly, bangy, bad seating position and clutch and general build quality isn't very good.
Well specced and good on fuel.

Brilliant drivers cars. Evo rated 5*
Mine never rattled.
Good on fuel but as mentioned they are cheap inside and STD driving position is terrible.
Good on fuel tofu and well specced

What john said tbh. ive had 2 and a couple mates have them, they all make a whistle noise over 70 on motorway. air coming through door frame
Make sure cambelt has been done as costs about 3-400quid to get done.
Would I have another one.... Fuck yeah
Edit - within 2 days of having my 1st one, the hazards stuck on all the time and the heaters/climate stopped working. Both common faults. Easy fixes just fucking annoying

the sport will be quicker but i reckon the sri would be more comfortable.

182 is just as good to drive as the 197 and 200...they are all fantastic
I would say though that the build quality on the two newer versions is in a different league to that of the 182 ...they are not too bad by any means...but they do feel cheap.
Amazin car for the money though imo.

My sisters 172 Cup never has neither. My 206 on the other hand never bloody stops!
The only problem I've ever really had with the Clio is the shite clutch position. Takes some getting used to thats for sure.
Overall, a good car for the monies imo. My sister has had very few problems with it in the 4 years she's owned it.

You can have my manacco blue (best colour) ph2 172 for £1300. Done a few miles but runs great with masses of service history

Great little cars.
My old one never rattled, done about 14k miles in it in the space of 6 months and never had any problems.
Cost me about 800-900 quid for the belts plus another service for peice of mind.
