thought ad put this up just to show everyone our conversion with basic tools and a tractor lol
started this last saturday morning at 10.30am removed c20xe engine from my old white corsa with the use of a recirculating saw as we had no engne lift at this time and no jacks big enough plus the shell was going to scrap anyways right hope you all enjoy lol i plan a let conversion over the next year gathering parts new if possibly then blitz it all in a day again
anyways 3 mates alot off doubters me a chef andy a welder and birdo an electrician enjoy how it started
c20xe removal from my old car

engine out after around an hour and half

we then put it all in the back of andys corsa

then headed over to andys middle of nowhere lol and up a hellish dirt road lol
so engine out car and block and gearbox painted up black while i got to work on the 16xe
rained most of the day with some dry spells lol but we kept at it

a local tractor we borrowed from a nearby farm lol our make shift engine lift drivin by birdo

out she comes

c20xe going in

after that car was started not long after midnight started straight up turned it off fitted up exhaust system and called it a night the next day ie sunday was a case of getting bumper etc on lights on adjust gear linkage pics to follow

the mascot haha

and done had a problem with drivers shaft popping out the box nothing a big hammer couldnt fix lol all good took her a drive pulls hard in every gear just as quick as i remember her logbooks off to dvla to be changed happy days enjoy slate rate dont care its done its dusted it works end of
