Not too sure on the wheels either but they're growing on me. tyres are fairly new so may look at changing the wheels when they're dead if I'm still not keen.

Going to see how she goes for a bit to see if any niggles come up, then may do a few slight bits. very happy with it atm so going to try and not throw money at it (said that with all previous cars )

Edit: May remove the front spots, but not sure yet.

It's a Mini, you've got to have stripes!

How many people have Minis on here now? Must be a few!

Cheers Peeps.

CS mini meet. Think it has the sport suspension over standard, definately feels very firm! what brakes have you got? will need some in a few thou.

JM I've heard about that too. It pulls better than the standard ones I've driven, not expecting it to make the quoted 200 bhp though. Will get it roaded at somepoint though.

i do like them but was really put off the JCW model due to watching 2 ones make standard power.

also reading BMW letter from germany which wrote off the excuse that Dynos were not accurate due to barmetric pressure,

still didnt explain that the dyno self recalculates with the weather station and that even thou it was "not accurate" it amazingly went back to standard power.

its all in the map and it reset back to default was the theory

Is it not better to actually drive one and see how you feel about how it drives rather than going off a dyno figure!

Audi RS4s never made their factory power figures but you didn't hear anyone complaining about their performance on the road.

If it doesn't make power slap on a 15% pulley and it will then

The intercoolers on them as standard are pretty worthless. GRS is a good upgrade and affordable, 1320 told me the GP Cooler is the best one though, recovery times slightly better than the GRS Cooler but both still much impoved over standard one

Looking good there

How much can you pick these up for now then? Seeing as everyone seems to have one I'm intrigued.

Early MCS you can get for anything from 3500, but expect to have to replace bushes, pumps, racks, rods, engine mounts.

I love mine, just wish I had those seats that Fro has got. I'm gonna wait until some come up on MT.

Will be out down lakeside at somepoint no doubt now I have a fun car to drive again. Do like the Facelift headlights, pricey though aren't they?

The seats are fapping awesome, doesnt leave much room in the back though mind, dont think you can get feet under them either due to the subframes, will experiment over the weekend.

skater - As olly said you can get them quite cheap now especially if you dont want all the options etc. It was testing driving one that sold me on getting one though.

The harmon Kardon in this sounds better than the BM too

Mini sips juice compared to the BM even with quite a bit of playing which is a bonus

Edit: Ollie if i see any come up ill give you a shout. do you want full leather or half?
