I'm looking at a laptop/netbook for my degree I'm starting, I've got a pc downstairs but don't really like sitting on it and there isn't much room, so I need a laptop or netbook for basic internet surfing then Office e.g. Word/Excel.
Will probably have some music to but won't be running programs/playing games on it so whats best? Seen a few netbooks with only a gig of RAM, which is a bit low? Anyone want to link me up Sam/Dom etc...
Also what does Windows 7 starter come with?

What sort of budget are you looking to spend, and any must have requirements?

Any cheap computer will do this, there's not really a bad answer to the question of which to buy.
Will probably come down to how portable you need it, ie how heavy and how long the battery lasts.

Erm non of them really effect me, would be used at home only, and weight doesn't really concern me, aslong as its reliable, looks smart and isn't made of cheap plastic everywhere I would be happy...
