got hold of an xbox really cheap but it doesnt have a hard drive.

I've got a 40gb sata hdd out a laptop sitting spare can I buy one of thos xbox hdd cases off ebay and expect it to work? or will it not work?

I've got an old 20gb one here.

Apparently you only need 4gb.

Has to be a specific one if you're trying to plug it in the top of the XBOX, WD BEAVS 2.5" I think

I wish someone would find a way of using bigger drives in the 360 (well the original ones anyway).

60GB is cack I'd rather have 1TB or something like that

I only really need somethin basic to save my game profile on and my save games. I doubt it'll be getting used on xbox live so they'll be no downloadable content or stuff like that.

wonder if i'd be better just getting a memory card
