my car seems to be getting hotter than it should be everything in the engine bay is that hot it cant be touched, the fan seems to be coming on all the time and there seems to be water that has got that hot and over flowed threw the cap because the pressure has got that much inside the bottle.

any ideas of what could cause this?

i have drained the system and filled back up and left running until thermostat opened but it got that hot at 95 on the gauge the bottle over flowed and fan didnt get a chance to come in.

fan doesnt come on till 102 iirc

had this on my tigra.. turned out to be head gasket

fan comes on at 97-8 standard
