I sold a sony multi changer on ebay back in early june, sold it for £22 posted. the buyer received it and said it did not work (this i know to be a lie as it was 100% when i sold it and was packaged well)
i offered him a refund aslong as he sends it back. however, i have received it back today and it has come back with all the leads chopped off so it will never work now

ebay have taken £22 out my paypal account aswel without even hearing my side of it. it boils my piss when little tramps do this. I'm now left with a broken multi changer and £22 down

PayPal won't just "take" the money out of your account; the buyer will most likely have opened up a dispute case against you, it's up to you to provide them your side of the story or they will just simply side with the buyer.

Take pics and call paypal and explain. If all else fails, wait till he lists stuff and buy it. If its an auction even better as you can keep bidding it up with a mate and then he has to pay the fees on £10,000 for instance!! (Dont agree to cancel the deal either)
