My few month old 360 has died on me. Once again proving (to me) that it is inferior. But anyway, where do I go to get a new one? Since I know a few of you have had to do it

I better get a Halo Reach edition

i bought my first 360 on release day, traded it in to get a slim ps3 18 months ago. my ps3 died a month or so ago so i got another 360. ps3 is inferior in my opinion.
sony didnt want to kno, at least microsoft are efficient at getting 360's replaced/repaired

My brother bought his 360 on release day, and it took us half an hour to figure out what three red lights were the INSTANT he turned it on

We've had two dead PS3's and five Xbox's now.

If they tell you to send it to them they will try and fix it, if they cant you will get either a reconditioned one back or failing they have the same model, a new one

Note that you can use Sale of Goods Act, as the item 'must last a reasonable time', if it is just out of warranty and MS get arsey.

You get 3 years warranty on 3 red lights, look on xbox.com for the return procedure. Its fairly straight forward. You will get your limited edition console back as im sure they just replace the insides.

New style 'slim' consoles are not supposed to get rrod though

All the consoles that have died on you

Nah i think he just tried to play games on them Adam. They aren't very good at doing that you see, cant handle such a thing, can just about manage to light 3 red LEDs up.

Halo Reach was released on September 14th so you must have got the console on or after this date so they will need to fix it or give you a brand new one. I think red ring has a 3 year warranty anyway but if they don't you are well under your years warranty
