Basically I have a roll and sausage monday-friday every morning, I used to have a cake with it too and a cake at lunch, i have changed it to a roll and sausage for breakfast - 4 sandwiches/2 orange/2apples/banana for lunch and always have a balanced dinner with veg etc, im 19 and weigh just under 12 stone, Im getting a wee belly which I get paranoid about, what can I substitute a roll and sausage for that will fill me up in the morning? Im an apprentice roofer so im not near offices or anything and usually eat on the go.

Weetabix or (flavoured) oats?

I would drop the sausage altogether as they're full of shit

Just try something old skool, ham & cucumber cob or something equally as mundane.

no im being serious, i know what a sausage roll is as in a cold sausage roll in pastry, you can then have a sausage like fried and in a roll like a breakfast bap or you can literally have like he is saying a sausage cooked separately with a roll , like one in each hand

The 'breakfast bap' is the 'roll' as has been covered on CS on numerous occasions

This is excactly what I thought too

To the OP, drop the cakes, change 4 sarnies to 2, fruit is ok but I wouldnt suggest the amount you are having in one go as thats a lot of sugar - thats about 120g of sugar (RDA for sugar is 90g). If you are then having cake, you haven't mentioned having a brew etc, you are probably taking in double the RDA.

How much exercise do you do ? Being a roofer i'd of thought you'd be fairly active ?

Just have a decent breakfast i.e. porridge, take a couble of sarnies and an apple for lunch and then a decent dinner when you get home. Add in a bit of cardio if you want to shed a few pounds and you'll be fine.

Out of interest how tall are you? Because 12 stone and 6'5 is skinny, 12 stone and 5'5 you need more than a bit of cardio

Make 5 minutes in the morning to have breakfast, then have prroidge or weetabix, sweeten them up with raisins or sultanas, maybe some toast (make it wholemeal and don't go nuts with the butter/spread)

A roll and sausage is a piece of square sausage that goes inside a roll.
