yeah found it eventually...

locals were meeting in Spennymoor (not far from mine) and heading through together but i wasn't sure on what time, just by chance i was on my way up there and heard "vroom, vroom, vroom vroom" going the other way, turned round the next roundabout and caught up with them. few others joined just after Washington services and then for some reason we all turned into the valley , i didn't realise the drivers in front had went all the way round the roundabout and then back to the motorway and i ended up going striate on was like "EH! WTF" haha after 10mins of guessing were i was going it was time to pull over and ring the lass for a postcode for wor mr tomtom....
still got there before them somehow hahaha
