Any one work for Ford or now anything about Mondeo 2.0 TDCi issues with ECU/Fuelling/Ignition?

Only thing I know is the fuel pump is a pain to get to and are renown to go wrong.

It doesnt crank by just turning the key. Engine turns over if we put + from battery to solenoid. checked relay under bonnet for starter motor, 11.6v there. Relay is not clicking though indicating it is not activated. Switched for a known working relay and still doesnt work.
