I got told off by my other half for picking up a coin in the street the other day (20p) and I just wondered what the minimum value coin everyone else would pick up? I presume 1p and 2p are a no-go area?

1p gives you luck if you pass it on.

I'd be more inclined to pick up a penny than most coins tbh
I'm a bit OCD with the luck thing

I tend to kick 1p and 2p coins when I see them, anything higher than a 5p will get picked up.

Pick up anything; that said at BugJam, the guys sat next to us superglued a £1 coin to the walkway next to the strip; then cheered like fuck everytime someone tried to pick it up.

I remember someone super glued a £1 coin to telephone box once. Bet he wasn't so pleased with himself when I went home and got a hammer and chisel
A £1, that was 20 Mr Freeze's

Anything big enough to quickly grip. That rules out 5ps and 1ps, but 2ps are fair game (after a kick )

I got given a rank £5 note once in a nightclub, so ripped it up and positioned it to look like a complete note just by yhe till.
Some fella thought it was his lucky night until he went to hand it over to the barman at which point it fell into little pieces and had to use his own money to pay for the drinks.
