i'd of thought they'd be fine but, would bonnet pins alone pass an MOT ?

perfectly safe, aero catches are slightly more safe, and more mot friendly as they have less exposed sharp bits, but i think the mot guy would need to be pretty strict to fail it on that, and theres nothing in the mot saying you need a double secured bonnet or safety catch

thanks alot, yeah just been lookin at the aero catch on youtube looks like there worth the extra pennies
