Some people who spoke to me at pvs will know that i was looking into breaking my beloved corsa c as im going to be a dad in december i wanted something 5 door and diesel.

The corsa hasnt gone too far, still very sad not owning it but my dad took it and i got his astra + money

anyways the astra

plans:
buy/fit coilovers DONE
buy/fit wheels DONE
fit gsi headlights
fit 8k hid kit
get new exhaust

plan is to just fit my wheels, suspension, gsi lights and hid kit and just keep it clean. next year i may get some rust patches treated, gsi bumpers, colour code and some new interior but anyways heres some pics

standard:

my dad then had all the windows tinted (rears medium and fronts light) i bought him some 17'' wolfrace katana alloys

The wheels were later sold and he used my 15'' corsa c steelies and it stayed like that for months until i got it.

1st thing was sony headunit (not fitted properly i know )

removed the old grill:

new slatted grill:

coilovers arrived:

along with my new wheels (bbs rx) :

painted the drums blue:

fitted the coilovers with blue calipers:

rears fitted:

finished product:

And a pic outside my house. My fiesta zetec s my corsa c (back to standard) and the astra.

will clean the car tomorrow and take a few more pics

comments etc welcome

Did you have to modify any bits on the hid's? or just fit straight in?

I heard thery're a nightmare to fit because you have to buy an extra part or something?

I ha to drill a hole in the back of the headlight clip thing so the bulb clicked in place and the 2 connectors from the hids were to big so had to trim them with wire cutters but no they're fine. Only 28 I think off eBay aswell

Not much else has happened but it's booked in for colourcoding 6th of sep and ordered my pressed plates. Can't decide between the Sri turbo prodrive bumper or gsi bumper

Havnt updated in a while here's a few pics

Decat and centre section out ( decent improvement)

Seen a gsi bumper on eBay a few miles away which had just been painted White so snapped it up

My garage with a few parts, black dash aswell

Pressed plate with Opel surrounds

I'm hoping to take it off the road next month and hVe loads planned for it, it won't be on the road until next year atleast but 5 stud conversion and engine conversion are on the cards.

I'm hoping to buy a Arden blue 5 door corsa b off a local lass for a runabout.
