what do you do to wake you up in the morning? I have a 37 mile drive to work and its getting downright dangerous, cant even remember half of it this morning

I m normally up dressed and out as quick as possible so I thought it was that, but this morning I had my van to load up so I was up 15 mins early and was moving about but still no joy

going to get up early again tomorrow and try having breakfast and a pint of coffee to see if that works

how do you personaly handle mornings?

Badly.... I'll watch this thread with interest.

I've left the estate with my work clothes and trainers on several times and have also driven right past my work (it's a power station so hardly subtle...) a few times.

I really shouldn't be allowed on the road before midday

Wake up at 7.30. Spend half an hour in bed doing shit on the internet. Get up at 8, quick shower, breakfast and out the door by 8.30.

At my desk within 5 minutes walk

I normally wake up an hour before i have to be in work. I have a routine set which is

get up, cereal, cup of tea/coffee and then shower and get ready. i try not to watch tv just before going bed either as they can have an affect on your sleep.

Up at 6, showered, dressed and out the door by 6:15. Fucking soul destroying getting up in the morning If I'm left to sleep, I'll normally wake up after 6 hours, except on work shifts where I'll still need the alarm and feel like shit after 10

Alarm goes off 7.13, snoozed at 7.22, again at 7.31 and then up when it goes off at 7.40. Up, showered and out the door by 8.10.

I'd like to get up earlier so i can mooch about and eat something. But i hate getting up earlier than necessary.

Alarm goes off at 7.15am, get washed and dressed for work. Drive 15 minutes to head office, then drive half hour to Derby then that's when I'll have my first Cup of Tea/Coffee. And I dont eat until 12/1. As like most of you, I also can not eat first thing in the morning.

I fucking hate mornings though, and cannot usually eat before 9am. makes me feel sick

Edit - prior to getting to work, stop on route for a can of relentless so im booming to go by 9am to start bashing out the sales

I have to set my alarm earlier than when i need to wake up. So it goes off, i snooze it, it goes off, i snooze it. I cant just wake up and get out of bed as soon as my alarm goes off. I suppose doing what i do sort of prepares me for waking up as such.

Like other people on here i cant eat in the morning. When i was at school and college, i physically couldnt eat before 10-11. If i did force myself to i would feel really sick.
