just woundering if ecar car insurance is any good and dose anyone no if they expect you to pay it all off at once or can you do it monthly payments... looks like for my first year am going have to pay £5021 to get on road

ecar is deer, try admiral, usually cheapest for younger drivers

Phone and ask would be the easier way . Have you shopped around? I'd never pay that much to insure a car

ive already phoned admiral was more than ecar and i would phone up but there shut now so looks like will have to tomorrow and yeh been shopping around for about 3 week now and getting no were phoned nearly every insurence company in this country and they aint arsed its all because im a new driver :/ and im only willing pay it because i want to get the corsa on the road.

get a van, dropped my insurance from 2500 to 1500

already got my corsa now mate and yeh thats were ive found this ecar but when go to pay online its asking for single payment even though i have clicked monthly and its telling me what the monthly rates will be.

If you say its got uprated hubs or whatever it was and get it for £100 for the yeaar

Lol I can remember that , uprated brake hoses got you insurance for £168

i did a qoute on go compair and it came back at £5021 with ecar its gave me a number to contact but the phone lines will be shut. what do you mean by carnt phone them ? cheers andy.

Your not trying hard enough. Admiral, add a couple of older drivers as named drivers.

You say that pow but my cousin couldnt get a quote under about 4-5k on a 1 litre nissan micra. I done some for him to see if he was doing anything wrong but they were all coming back at the same price.

It might also be your postcode area, when i was doi.g my cousins quotes with my address they were pretty much half what they were when using his address.

Aviva are sometimes quite cheap If you havnt tried them already. How old are you, 17? And would you be paying it monthly?

i got a good deal with the co-op just go on their website rather than the comparison bullshit coz its dearer on there

I did it Basically got 5 weeks free insurance after they cancel'd it.

put your postcode up, i bet you between us someone will find a quote for at least half that in 10 minutes. insuance is expensive but at 5 grand youre doing something wrong
