Hello
i have searched and searched and cant find what i am looking for what it is i have a sxi 1.2 16v an a dizzy xe out a astra gsi?? so the wires are in the bay not footwell??? I have a few wires left which are
XE LOOM
white wire not connected
black and yellow wire not connected
blue not connected
1.2 SXI LOOM
brown red stripe not connected
brown white stripe not connected
brown black stripe not connected
skinny red not connected
brown not connected
anyone no where these wires go ?? Or which ones connect together ??
All help appreciated as this is doing my head in

Think blue is temp sensor for speedo cluster

Ah bugga lol ive got three lists an 2 mates with redtop corsas but all different wires ???? Bloody loom lol thanks anyway

Thin red and black wire off corsa loom where do i connect these to think the black is ignition live but were can i connect it to as not very good with wiring as u can tell lol

Also i have just found a extra plug with 4 pins in on the starting and charging loom the wires are
black
thick red and blue
blue
green blue stripe
any ideas people as this car is doin my head in

Ok so i started on the car again checked everything earths etc and thought plug thin black to battery see if lights come on and bingo!!!! I have lights in car eps and the seat one?? (fotgot name) so now jus gota find out which is ignition switch and thats done but ecu isnt powering up so just gotta figure that out now so tomorrow try and go back over the wires???

Ok today got new battery plugged everything up and everything comon dash engine management etc but then smoke come from bay so turned off and turned out to be thin black from battery so my dad didnt run it to ignition switch the gimp
now i gonna trace wire back till its good and clean and connect to ignition live will that stop it melting???

you talking about the ignition live on the car loom? or the one on the xe loom? if its a proper ignition live it will be regulated so shouldn't get hot and melt, that sounds like a short to me.
