I've been the once back in 2009 when they were still building it. It was good back then. My mate has been not so long a go and he said it's much better now.

Looks good. Right near Gisburn too I understand?
I did the Forest of Dean uplift on Sunday. Was immense. We've made Gisburn & Lee Quarry our next road trip.

Never have worn gloves when xc/trail riding, only wear them when I'm on my downhill bike.
I've been too gisburn, it has some good sections hilly gully is one I think. But for the time and distance from mine I'd rather go to Glentress.

You're lucky. For anywhere decent for us it's a 3 hour trip at least. Glentree about 9 hours

Hully gully was the only bit I can remember tbh.
