Yeah im pretty sure most of them can. I think I saw one advertised in dixons not so long ago dirt cheap at about £70.

most dvd writers going about are able to write to CDR's also.

just ordeded a sony 1.....was £60 on dixons site but was knocked down2 £50...just bought 1 from dabs for £47 delivered! i am talkin bout a normal cd writer by da way!

yes they can. the latest ones go from about 16x (cd-r)
