my friends got to do this for a job interview

1) Please design and produce a PDF file which we could up load on to our website

2) Please design a HTML email campaign which we could send to our customers to promote our Christmas email and draw them to click to our website.

how do you go about this? id have thought she needs to use frontpage to make the email and need some webspace to host it? can anyone tell me how the best way to do it is?

cheers

If she doesn't know how to do this by herself, she probably won't stand much chance of getting the job tbh!

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

They probably use something like MailChimp to send emails out to their customers.

Just design something and save it as a PDF.

BTW - what type of job is it? If it's for a web designer then disregard my PDF comment as they might want to see how well she codes rather than how well she can graphically design marketing material.

ive already raised that point to her but still thought id help her out.
its for marketing so its more to show how creative she can be rather than how well she can code the email. shs already been told most of it will be done on facebook and the manager has told her shes got the job but then brought this up as an afterthought.
