I think it will look better without them to be honest but its a pain if you have the condensation under the paint, you have to use a heat gun to get rid of it without bubbling the paint.

Piece of piss to take off the bumpstrips. Just use white spirit and elbow grease. But don't do it unless your going to put something else in it's place i.e graphic etc because it'll look 'empty'. If not done today I'll have a go tonight!
