I looked into it about 10 years ago and it seemed more bother than it was worth for me, might be different these days though. Mine is only about an inch down the side of my nose but it used to be really noticeable. I think its gone down a lot in the last 5-6 years as hardly anyone mentions it now.

Secondly its still fairly fresh isn't it? It will fade alot more over time.
Thirdly, plastic surgery may not be worth it, and do you really want another op on your neck area?

I saw some stuff in boots the other day that was some kind of scar removal cream! Wasnt cheap but I considered trying it on the scar on my arm.

Think one of the things my dad does is IPL treatment which they normally use to remove hair, but I think they can use it for scar removal, varicose vein removal e.t.c..
Can ask about it if you like as they're just setting up the clinic for this stuff now.
