You'll be making a saving soon if you have more than one room with Sky+ HD:
From 1 September 2011, a single HD fee of £10.25 will now cover your whole home. This means that any Sky+ HD box with a multiroom subscription will now show stunning HD. If you currently pay more than one HD fee then this will automatically reduce, saving you at least £120 each year.
Just saw that on the Sky website when I logged in earlier.

We've got HD downstairs and a normal box upstairs just now. Does that mean we won't pay any extra to upgrade that box?

£10 a month for multiroom and usually £10 a month for HD (plus you'd need to buy a HD box off eBay or through Sky directly). After September it will just be £10 a month (don't need to pay the extra £10 HD fee).
