I might tell my other half about this, our new place is only a 5 minute walk from our local train station so we'd only have to change at Smethwick/Moor St. and get a train from New St. to the NEC!

I went along with my free ticket today, couple of interesting talks - one on self building with Kevin Mcloud and a few from the self build associations. Another good talk with George Clark and one of the couples who converted a church on the Restoration man program. Some TV guy called Oliver something did a talk and then had one person turn up for the book signing after

I found a couple of interesting products in the build section but majority of it is kitchen/bathroom/garden furnishing type stuff. Probably wouldn't go again if I had to pay for tickets
