I've given up and turned off in the past! Quick game seemed like a good idea until the update bar came on.

Doesn't help that the updates take like 3 times as long as they do on xbox either

are you hard wired? on mine through eifi it takes an age, pop the cable in 5 mins and its done

I think theres an option for Auto update now in the settings, does all updates on the fly, bit like the Wii
