Ive been after a daily runabout since selling my XE Gsi last week and After lots of searching the vauxhall man deep inside me jumped out at the chance of buying this cavalier, its been garaged most of its life and is in stunning condition with not a speck of rust anywhere. Cannot wait to pic her up tonight and give her a good polish etc

a few pictures for now...

Tell her to get the bus if she don't like it, then when you drive past her call her a bus wanker!

Did you buy that off a lad called Phil (aka Galahad) by any chance? Looks a cracker that, bloody good cars those Cavaliers and although the Ecotech isn't as popular as the 8V or XE they're nowhere near as bad as some people will tell you.

After some searching yes the car does belong to galahad, didnt realise until now.

I prefer the ecotec to the 8v. quieter than the XE aswel

Nice one, Phil is a good lad and gets some decent cars for pocket money prices.
You can't really go wrong with Cavaliers, they're a bit 'out of fashion' (to put it mildly!) but value for money they're incredibly hard to beat.

I've had 2 salloon cav's one redtop and one ecotec.

And imo the ecotec was better all round.

Didn't have to put up with the tapping that I had from the redtop

Once the f16cr gearbox was fitted to the ecotec is was just as quick too.
