General information -
1998 Ford Transit 2.5 Di (diesel) 100 LWB van.
MOT'd April 2012.
Taxed until the end of September 2011.
Power steering and side loading door.
Rear door ladder.
Full length roof rack.
This is the sought after six stud/single rear wheel model which has the best carrying capacity of the Transits and can carry big weights.
Bodywork is the usual old Transit affir, plenty of dings/marks/ etc but it's a very reliable van and more importantly a great workhorse. Rear door handle will need replacing soon but still works.
Also it's about eleven million times more reiable than those new shaped Transits that chew through DMFs, starter motors, cluches, gearboxes and fuel pumps!
Not long since had a new starter motor and it also has a heavy duty towbar with working electrics, two keys and unusually for a Transit one key does all doors.
Ideal for all manner of things such as towing vehicle, car boot sales, rubbish removals, motorcycle collection/delivery, builder, joiner and plenty more.
For the hard of thinking I'm just going to repeat that this van is NOT immaculate so if you're fussy then run along to a van dealers, pull your pants down and get ready to be dry bummed for an expensive, unreliable van just because it looks prettier than mine.
Cash offers considered but I'm only going to take you seriously if you're stood in front of me with money in your hands. No tyimewasters, day trippers, morons or 'txt tlkrs'. It's on sale until deposit or fully payment received. No delivery, cash on collection only. Don't ask me for a discount just because you live miles away as that won't work with me.
It's near Chester, Cheshire and inspection etc more than welcomed.
£795 ono I might (not definately, but might) take something cheap and cash my way but no projects, chav chariots or cars etc with no MOT and definately no stupid priced crap. I also definately do NOT want a Mk2 Mondeo or any Laguna.
Car, scooter (automatic or manual) ideally but would much prefer a straight cash deal.
