My mate has been looking after and living in this guys house while he's been away. The other night we were up there having a few drinks and my mate went onto his computer and started looking through his internet history for a laugh. We were pretty shocked at what we found...
In the last month he had numerous searches such as, "preteen girls" "preteen tits" "first signs of breast" "childs breasts" "young sex" the list could go on, but you get the idea 
The guy is back tomorrow night and we have a fair idea of what we're gonna do, but just out of curiosity, what would you do?

Yeah, it was a little bit of an odd situation to find ourselves in, but my mate has a little sister and they just stay a few doors down so he feels he needs to do something...

It may be he only looks at images but what happens if he takes it further? If something serious ever did happen you could have potentially prevented it

The main reason we has a little snoop was because we had heard stories about him touching up his step sister a few years back.
I previously didn't know whether to believe the rumours or not, but I do now.

No, this was history of searches he had carried out on google. One after the other. Day after day for weeks. No mistake there.

In all seriousness, though. I'd let the correct authorities know. It might be quite innocent in his eyes, but as mentioned, who knows what the guy is capable of.

As soon as the plod get involved, people will find out. Life will become very hard for him and his family. You are in a very awkward situation, instinct would be to kick the shit out of him i suppose, but you could try talking to him about and he might stop.
About a year ago, there was a lad i knew who used to go round my girlfriends cousin's house, decent enough lad, liked a drink, could be a prick sometimes. The cousin had 2 kids, and i have a son, we had been round there numerous times while the friend had been there and he had held my son and was around the kids abit.
Anyway, a few months after knowing him, it turns out he was due in court for sex offences, he was sentenced for 18 months for having pictures of children on his computer, and also for creating pictures!!
This person who we thought was ok, now turned out to be a peado, he got sent down, his parents house windows got smashed, cars broke up, all sorts. They had to put cameras on the house to catch people.
His life just became shit, he also got put on the sex offenders list for life.
The situation you are in with your friend, could be the start, or i could be boredom or something, however, your actions could decide the rest of his life in a way.

Thats how the guy i knew got caught! Was talking to a girl on MSN and it turned out to be a police woman from Australia posing as a underage girl! She informed the police local to him and they came round!
