Corsa currentl on 80700 miles so it's time for a cambelt, I was surprised to be quoted £270 from a local garage inc cambelt kit.
Its a 1999 V reg Corsa 1.4 sport.
Wondering if that was a reasonable quote or if I should look around as in the current condition the car is only worth about £400-£500.
Thanks in advance.

The kit is usually around £100 and it takes a few hours to do...maybe a tad too high priced.

£100 roughly for belt n pump
2.5 hours roughly for work so your looking about £125 for that
so thats not to bad! But if you know the right people it can be £100-120 parts and a drink!
