I remember the first time I ever put fuel in my car about 20 mins after I passed my test and it was 59.9p per litre.

Damn I wish it was that again now!

This makes me sad

Two days before i passed mine everyone at work was saying its gone to a pound!!
I remember not so long ago queuing for petrol and when i got to the pump there was only premium left and i paid £1.12 for if and was disgusted doing so.

Same for me

£20 would last me ages.

£20 barely just about takes it up at a quarter in the Astra now

Early 70s I think.

I recently put £15 of diesel in a hire van and it wasn't enough to knock the light off

1995, 50.9 although if you adjust that for inflation it's about 70p.

Still cheap
