Does anyone know what the 'limit' is on a TomTom speedo thingy? What does it go up to?

Got this tonight

car was indicating 150mph when the TomTom said 134mph, but kept pulling so TomTom said over 150mph and the car speedo needle was nearly snapping itself

Sorry for the blurry photo and missing the 150mph+ but its pretty difficult trying to take a photo of your satnav with your iPhone whilst doing 150mph in something with the same aerodynamics as a brick lol, very unstable at speed, especially one handed

ps. before any smart cunt says its a public road, it was actually on my uncles driveway

To drive at that speed for 30 seconds, you will cover over a mile, thats without accelerating to that speed in the first place and then stopping before you hit your uncles automatic gates

Assuming it uses NMEA sentences, you have a way to go.

I took this on my aunties driveway which as well as being very long is also quite high.

This is a weekly thing now. I expect one day we'll see an RIP thread for you at some point, that's usually the way these tales end on the internet.
