What the fuck are they playing at?

Chips and air are carcinogens, I've not got cancer yet and I've drank a lot of Irn Bru.

Funny idea this John but if you reduce your intake of potential carciogen's you reduce your risk of cancer... I know you're not a genius but I think thats pretty easy to understand even for a borderline vegetable such as yourself.

The Sun doesn't half talk some rubbish, for example, this:

quote:
EU chiefs wanted to ban footie fans from wearing their teams tops on outings and in the pub in case staff felt "harassed" by club colours.

never happened. What actually happened was that one pub in London which frequently had football related violence was told they could stop people entering in football shirts if it made them feel safer. That was it.

It is: I'm sure Irn-bru will find an alternative that doesnt cause cancer.. Unless you really feel the need for it to contain that colour to keep your "Scottish Heritage".

Why dont they just print a warning on it, I'd still drink it. Smoking causes cancer but that's not banned.

The issue is Joe Public isnt aware of the risk, they think its just a harmless drink.. And there is a bit of a difference between the sort of risk levels we are comparing here. In addition to the cancer risk its also been proven that it causes behviour issues in children.

Mars was in this situation with te blue food colouring in M&M's, same as Nestle with Smarties.. They just replaced it for something else.

Show me what has been proven exactly please.

It may cause side effect x when possibly combined with compound y when x is in a certain concentration and you are standing on your head.

Aspartame kills you. Smoking kills you. Fumes from cars kill you. Everything fucking kills you. Like I say, you make the decision yourself not some fat pen pushing cunt.

Above all that, however, it has been proven the levels in Irn Bru are harmless.
