when i went before, i had some shots done for my wedding by a photographer and when i went to get some printed as 6x4s they came out rando, with bits chopped off the edges etc. think its because they are random sizes so was told to resize in photoshop next time before printing.
i've got a picture now before tomorrow that i need printing but havent got photoshop. looked in properties and its 2848x4288, if i go to tescos with this will it print ok on a canvas and what would be the right size? don't want to mess it up if its like 30 odd quid

What size photo/canvas are you getting printed this time?
If its 6x4 then that will be fine.

4288x2848 would scale up to about 40cm x 26.65cm so you'd have a 1.67cm gap top and bottom.
If you want, you can email the image to me and i'll crop it to a size that would scale up to 40x30.

do you have to use tesco?
Give photobox a go? We got a couple of canvases from them and they turned out well.
Also, if i refer you, you can get 50 free 6*4 prints or something i think?

To be honest, I wouldnt use any supermarket for printing because i've compared the quality to proper printers and it's quite frankly shite.
But if you need something quick then that has to be your priority I guess.

well i ordered from jessops last night and used the option to collect from local store thinking i would be able to collect today. phoned them and wont ne there til tues/thurs coz i ordered online but if i had gone in would have done it in an hour. stupid really. so went to tesco and managed to get one there, same size so i'll be able to compare the two and report back on quality difference

I wont say I told you so.
I use DSCL and the quality is outstanding in every aspect and I use them for my business almost weekly.
You get what you pay for when it comes to canvas.
