I swear the bookies work with the tv shows on things like this.
With the final few in the house i decided to place some bets, thought i couldn't lose.
I bet on Darren, Jedward, Kerry, Lucian, kinda spread the bets and worked out that Jedward are bound to win so used them to cover the bets, but if one of the others did, then i'd win.
almost put £500 on jedward towards the end as it looked a certain thing, glad i didn't 
The Pikey won.
and i bet some people from channel 5 and the bookies won big.
Whole world is one big con imo, even the lottery

To be honest, I was as confused as 3CM.
Essentially, All week the odds on jedward have been shortening and shortening, with many media sites / polls around the net suggesting jedward were going to walk it.
Similar things had Kerry as being the 2nd place person and Paddy was all the way up at like 20-1 to win.
... When last night he won it, I thought ... heh? really... it's unusual for a bookie to get it so wrong (on odds) - although there is an adjustment made for the amount of money already backed.
- Thing is, Channel 5 is fairly corrupt / money grabbing, hence it's showing adverts inside the house and doing any cheap trick to make money. I almost wouldn't be surprised if the bookies said 'look we're going to be in the shit if kerry or jedward win, we'll pay you (big brother) 50 million to make paddy win'.

xfactor, britains got talent etc.

Everytime they mentioned Paddy the crowds went mental. It never even crossed my mind to put a bet on as it was so obvious I thought the odds would be crap.
