i think a few parts, but not many.

Lots of stuff is corrado specific and starts with a part number of 535 if its corrado.

and the stuff they do have left is crazy pricing

I guess lots of stuff that is designed for the Corrado shape like door cards is a problem. Wouldn't have this problem with a 3-4 year old diesel Astra

TBH I've never thought VW were a prestige upmarket brand...just being in many dealerships you can tell the salesmen are more "pressure sellers" than the likes of BMW even the parts guys/mechanics seem to be always neds/chavs.

When i worked at VW i dreaded getting corrado owners in had to sit with them for an hour referencing all the parts only to put them in the VW main system and they are all obselete due to nearly 0 demand. Then the owner looks at you like All TPS centres and VAG main dealers get the parts from the same place btw.

I am sure demand is minimial for these parts now

and its not uber rare so most likely when they die they are just replaced with a more modern cars

That's what you get for buying a car which there is only 9000 of.

I'd still love one, but this sort of thing really does put me off, you don't have the same trouble with a mk3 Golf

yes, but they make their money from selling parts, if you go a vw dealer surely its just a bit on the side for them so if they cant be bothered to organise bringing parts in from abroad they probably wont

IMO you should not bother with the corrado anyway move on to summat more modern and better... the corrado is an ugly thing anyway. the only thing it has going for it in my opinion it that VR6 engine which is a peach.. dint the put that in the golf Mk3

i could settle for a corsa and just sling a different engine in it and enjoy the cheap, fast motoring, even making one look decent is very affordable. (dunno what some peoples excuse is tbh)
