My brother loves it, even has Minecraft t-shirts But then he is a massive geek.

I asked him to show me what it was all about. 2 hours later i was still non the wiser as to what the fuck was going on

on the PC you join servers and if you join one you can basically do what the hell you want..

if you go kill creepers (drop gun powder) and then get some sand you can craft blocks of TNT, put tnt where you want create a wire from the TNT to say a switch and BOOM!

if you placed the TNT in peoples houses they will all get destroyed

when i looked at it i just thought w.t.f is this shite.. watched a couple vids and still didnt really get it.. then i watched seananners and it all started to make sence.. then i got it and its just soooo addictive in a really unexplainable way.

i went on last night found a new random village buts its very poorly done, just plonked on the side of the hill so levels are all wrong, started leveling it all out and built a mineshaft etc so i can mine some stone etc.

worst thing now is the mobs are too easy to kill none of them are scary now.,

my boss loves this, apparently the dude making it is making another one called scrolls and is being sued by the makers of the elder scrolls game. Instead of a lawsuit he apparently offered a game of Quake and the winner of the game won the lawsuit

notch basically took an idea expanded it and now hes a multi millionaire doesnt seem that bothered.. i dont actually think hes really that good at programming either, lots of people wanted 1/2 size blocks but he said impossible so a forum member went and did it, thats just 1 example of many. there are loads of things the community has done which should be added to MC but they wont, shame too as there are some damn good mods.!
