I need some help quickly.

I was driving along doing about 30mph when a light on my dash came on.

Its in the bottom left and has a lightning bolt type thing in the middle.

I dont know what it means and cant look in the corsa manual because that got stolen when I had my car broken into a few months ago.

Any help would be great.
I know its not a very good description of the light.

its a '98 S reg 1.4 16v Sport
