there was supposed to be a wood chipper coming for them in a couple of weeks, so they could be burnt for heating. Luckily this meant dad had moved most of the equipment from around them already.

we've guessed there must be 2 tonne of nails on the floor now.

How did it start?


The bonfire was in the metal container you can see in the pictures. the wind must of picked up an ember and carried it into the boxes. Was left unattended

Dad did something similar to this a few years ago, but set a field on fire. Had tankers from the nearby RAF base with water and ploughing the field to try and break it up.
Had told the fire brigade we were burning some bushes, then once it was all done phoned to say it was all finished and then half an hour later an ember mustve blew into the next field
