I have for sale my Astra GSI this started life as an 1800cc 16v GSI then was professionally converted to a 2500cc V6 by MCD vaux conversions on 16/07/2007 the reasons for this I don't know.
I bought the car 06/01/2011 with full intensions of removing the V6 and getting the car to OEM+ with a near factory 20XE 2000cc 16v installed.
This is now done and has ran without fault for 6months.
The car comes with a huge folder of history inc original bill of sale and details of the cavalier GL that was part ex'd for it, also every MOT most laminated.
ok the spec-
1994 GSI flame red
standard 20XE bar sportex 4branch manifold and mocal 16 row oil cooler &
2.5' cobra stainless exhaust twin outward rolled tail pipes
Engine had all gaskets replaced oil pump removed cleaned and refitted new timing belt kit and aux belt.
this engine is not tappey at all from cold or hot and pulls very very well.
F20 5 speed gearbox
V6 front brakes
new radiator
new bottom arms
new ball joints
new track rod ends
new anti-roll bar links
New pads
Grooved discs
New rear discs,pads,handbrake shoes
New handbrake cable
New windscreen
New wiper blades
New CV boots
lowered around 60mm standard shocks on front and Koni adjustable rears with adjusting knobs present.
HID headlight conversion.
Full cavalier 5stud struts and hubs
fully reconditioned cavalier turbo wheels in graphite metallic wrapped in nankang NS1 205/45/16 tyres all legal with loads of life.
standard GSI bodywork factory spec no faded paintwork like other flame red Vauxhalls.
rear wiper removed.
Standard GSI interior with only slight wear on drivers seat but only slight.
Kenwood head unit, twin amps, prated mids and tweaters,crossovers,12' sub in box all wiring upgraded throughout car.
All the usual GSI items MFD display fully working, electric windows, remote central locking, power steering.
Toad CAT 1 alarm and immobiliser.
No MOT but can arrange for 12months
Tax is valid til end of sept
Now every car has them
The bad bits-
Bonnet has had a bad paint job at some point (bad prep marks)
I cant seem to get the door cards to fit perfect for some reason even though I have fitted hundreds before?
Rear arches have very slight surface bubbling nothing major and can be easily saved.
Inside filler cap has slight rust issues but not major.
Tailgate looks like it has been off and stood on one of its corners but isnt that noticable.
I could go on and on about the cars history and the time and money i have put into it but if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
Now im not that fussed on a cash sale and to be honest im not in any hurry to sell I would like swaps for something of the same value NO saxo's or kitted up chav 1.2 rubbish i know what the car is worth and how rare they are getting so don't offend me.
