Any one got it yet? I'm looking for a team mate for the Co-op championship

The graphics are a big disappointment - as far as I can tell they're just as murky/blotchy as F1 2010 just that the shades of colour are different.

The handling takes a lot of getting used to - but it's overall a big improvement over F1 2010, you feel the car underneath you better and once you get into a rhythm it's very satisfying.

Its also very hard to get used to using KERS and DRS, theres not enough buttons on my steering wheel for everything I want

Jamie do you have it on ps3?

what is co-op championship?

- I'm tempted to get it for ps3 if the handling is ok, although the thought of it being too basic puts me off.

I never thought the front of the cars looked right in F1 2010. When you use the incar view the wheels and front wing look really close together, not as wide as they look on real F1 cars.

Yeh PS3 Paul, Co-op championship is where we are team mates and we compete together in a season of F1, so for example every Saturday we would go on and do a race and compete for the championship

The handling is weird at the start but once yo get used to it its enjoyable, its no sim so if thats what your after then its not really for you.

I don't care who tbh, who ever is ready for it first , you will probably want to get used to the physics first before anyway, its totally different to GT5.

Yeah I had thought that. I ordered it last night from shopto.net, although it was after their 5:20pm cut off time so it will come tomorrow I think. As long as it doesn't go out of my account until today then that's fine

Got it in the post today Enjoying it a lot actually, think I'm a bit hamfisted though as I have to keep the TC on otherwise I spin on all the corners

Mertin - Basically mate, yes. If you have it open on a corner that's too tight or a lower speed corner then the back won't have enough grip and you'll spin. In races you can only use it in one place on the track (usually the pit or back straight) and only from lap 3 onwards, i.e. 2 laps have to be completed before it is available.

Is there restrictions in the game as to when you can use it? Does the kers just recharge overtime or is there anything that can be done to recharge it quicker?

In qualifying and practice you can use DRS wherever and when ever you feel like it like in real life, use it on a bend though and you'll spin round, it has to be manually activated but as soon as you touch the brakes it deactivates.

KERS is available for just over 7 seconds per lap, can be used whenever you feel like it, once you've used your 7 seconds for that lap thats it gone, it automatically re-charges when you cross the start/finish line

I choose Lotus as I wanted it to feel as if I was a newbie to F1 Like in real life, start in a shit team and work your way up. I have difficulty on legendary and I'm just quicker than the teams around me by about 0.2 secs, some tracks I'm slower so its a good challenge.

Only thing is I keep failing to meet my target, they expect me too beat Toro Rosso and Force India in a Lotus

Toro Rosso maaaaybe if you were epic but not Force India.

If you wanted to feel like a newbie then join Virgin Tbf Di Resta and Maldonardo are both new and in FI/Williams. It's kind of funny how if you join FI then you basically replace Di Resta
