you arent really going to get an accurate comparison as its being done on two different days, too many variables could be anything like 10bhp more or 10bhp less even if you didnt change anything!

Rolling roads arent accurate pieces of equipment, they work on guess work. however if you have wheel readings for both days that will be better then trying to compare fly

im not really that bothered abour power i just want to get the map nice n smooth etc and make sure the air to fuel is bang on at low, partial and high throttle.

depends how restrictive it is, on a subaru you can get around 50hp from a decat exhaust and panel filter and remap.

You get 50bhp with a remap on almost anything that has a turbo.

Even sports cats are restrictive (obviously), so I'd hazard a guess at 10bhp.

i gained 3bhp and lost 0.8 ftlbs lol

it was running quite rich 0rpm to 3000rpm and it was running lean from 6000rpm to redline

got that sorted out and some bits on partial throttle and it now picks up instantly where as before it seemed to have a bit of a hesitation.

engine was checked and given an all ok which is good, so all in all worth it.

running perfect now..

i did a little test, on the way down i did a painful 60mph and very smooth driving and managed 37.7mpg on the scanguage (doesnt matter what the value is as it reads it the same way so i can tell the difference) using vpower. on the way back i used total 95ron crap and i was driving 80's/90's spirited driving on the back roads and i was stuck in traffic moving slow for an hour and the gauge read 34.6 when i got home it peaked at 42 before the traffic jam.

because it was running rich up to 3k i actually sit at 3k in 5th until i get to 75mph.

Nath - Steve is correct but being anal.

Its on the same rollers..... and will be RR'd with correction factors used.... So as good as a comparison as it can be outwith removing the engine and running it in a climate controlled engine dyno cell.

Chris - I'm a bit confused.... I thought you were getting it remapped with a decat? Wouldnt they fit a decat to do this and sort the running rich/lean ?
