Really just looking for some adivce on nice places to eat and drink. I usually go to Praia da luz so never been to Albufeira.

I quite liked it but stayed away from the chavvy strip. Can't remember where I went or ate though.

Burnt my back so bad I had to be injected with morphine. Fucking amazing stuff

The strip is a bit cheap, typical brits abroad type place. Decent enough night though.

There is a place right at the end of the strip called Wild & co, go upstairs there for a meal. Really nice place.

Albufeira old town is a bit nicer really.

Also I'd make the trip to Vilamoura, round the harbour and stuff there is loads of restaurants. Go to the Mayflower.

Hi Lawrah,

The Mrs and I have been twice, love it! The Old town is definately best for eating. Theres a place called El Rancho in the old town with a strip of amazing places to eat.

But you cant really go wrong in the old town, it's all good. We liked Bhu Bar which overlooks the main square. We were there so much I was pouring my own drinks by the end of it

As Joe said try Vilamoura aswell, its about 30 EUR in a taxi from Albufeira but well worth it. It's a bit more expensive there but ace all the same.

If your up for a night raving about try Kadoc.

Hope that helps!

me and my girlfriend went to albufeira in july we loved it where our hotel was it was a bit too far to walk into the town so we had to get a taxi everywhere, as said the old town is nice, if you want to go on any trips the zoo marine is really good, we went to find the dolphines on a boat which was good and we also went on a quad bike tour for 4 hours and that was very good,

how long you going for and when?

I went to the zoo marine when i went to portugal last month, stayed in carvoeiro, swam with dolphins

Highly advise going there and swim with dolphins if you get the chance, although you have to book in advance, went to Albufeira once or twice too, couldnt tell you where we ate though

Yeah mate was about 130 Euro's per person, I wasnt too fussed about doing it before we went but my mrs wanted to and said I'd probably feel left out if I just watched so decided to do it. Was well worth it! We booked it about a month before we went.

Wish they did super bock over here too
