why do you want the 1.4 turbo then?

if 'just to be different' then your fucking daft imo

people fit c20xes for a reason, there a damn good engine and good power out of the box.

will be more power than a 1.4 8v turbo for sure! more than likely more reliable aswell

All depends on how much boost tbh mate Id say with a 2mm decompression plate an 8 psi probly about 150/160

Thats going from 90bhp saxo vtr engines making about 190/200 with the same setup

1.4 8v about 65bhp iirc either way id expect anywhere from 60-100% power increase some people might dissagree but thats what people are getting from 90bhp vtr engines with a 2mm decompression plate and about 8 psi

Eating dog shit is different, dosn't mean you would do it.

If you would be happy with 100bhp, just fit a 1.6 16v.

Punto GT is a 1.4 8v turbo at 130 odd bhp so would have to agree with Moffat at 120bhp.

Apparently with just a remap they have between 150-180 bhp. They can be tuned up to 300bhp as well, obviously only if you have deep pockets though.
