I make pleasantly rash decisions a lot, its how i've visited a lot of countries.

I split up with my GF of nearly 3 years in the summer and decided to book a holiday for myself, I got online searching and within an hour i'd booked up to go to the Seychelles. I booked the flights etc through Emirates and i've rented a 1 bedroom apartment all independently.

Its worked out cheaper than 2 weeks in Cyprus which I think is pretty good as a week in the Seychelles is usually about £2k plus.

I go out there for 10 days on the 23rd October and am massively looking forward to it, I travelled round SE Asia for 4 months with less than 4kgs in my day pack rucksack so i'm going to roughly equal that minus my snorkel and fins.

The apartment is a 100m walk from the round island bustop, 200m from a beach and about 1 miles from a stunning beach called Fairyland Beach.

It's a 12hr flight there and about 15 hrs return via Dubai, which is a walk in the park really as i've done a few 30+ hr flights now.

I can't wait

Yes i'm going alone.

I've pretty much travelled everywhere i've been whilst backpacking on my own, but i've always made life long friends within a week of being in a country.

I have no problems travelling solo.
