I did a lot of reading up on CAI's (Octy vRS) and ended up going with the Toyosports eBay special (£40) and fitting a decent filter to it.
Filter is down away from the engine in the front bumper area.. ideal! Be prepared to sound like a chav though, my 007P is MEGA loud now!

i found, when in the vag scene with my leon, that they are a strange species, spend a horrendous amount of time playing around with air feeds and filters and have some sort of obsession about making sure the filter is as close to the wheel is possible. Then posting lots of graphs with maf readings taken from vagcom coming up with random equations as to how much bhp they have gained based on that.
sorry not saying thats you, just thought i would point that out

I got really confused when researching it as people were saying buy Jabbas/eBay/Carbonio/Neuspeed/Awesome intakes etc etc.
In the end i went for the cheapest option (which turns out to not really be any different to the Carbonio setup apart from not being carbon and being £150+ cheaper
All i need to do is replace the Silicone coupler for the Intake pipe & MAF as its blue and i want a black one.. current one is wrapped in black insulation tape

It appears that your tyres don't fit on your wheels properly.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
