Away against the montenegros
at least away means we stand a chance of playing well.
team
Goalkeepers
Scott Carson, Joe Hart, David Stockdale
Defenders
Leighton Baines, Gary Cahill, Ashley Cole, Phil Jagielka, Phil Jones, Micah Richards, John Terry, Kyle Walker
Midfielders
Gareth Barry, Stewart Downing, Adam Johnson, Frank Lampard, James Milner, Scott Parker, Theo Walcott, Ashley Young
Forwards
Darren Bent, Andy Carroll, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck, Bobby Zamora.
thoughts? Caroll can STFU imo, want to see rooney and wellbeck up front. Apart from that we look to have a fairly decent team

Said it before Wellbeck isn't england quality (yet, who knows in the future).
However he is bang in form, and if you're picking on form, i'll not argue with him getting the nod. Also i'd rather see Rooney playing a withdrawn role than leading the line, so it'd balance the team more.
Saying that, i'd still prefer Bent, but it'll more than likely be Utd players.
Also, Right back, i'd go for Richards, then Walker, then Jones personally. But who knows what Fabio will do there, he doesn't seem to like Micah

i like having a lot of members frmo the same team, used to be loads of man city players, now seems to be united.
At least majority of team will be used to playing with each other.
Wasnt the Germany team from last WC made up of players primarily from the same club?

Jones is a brilliant player, I said it before any of you utd fans who didn't even know who he was
Jones and Smalling will be immense as Englands CB pairing in the future, for now i'd rather have Richards at RB, and Jones for cover.
And I agree with a lot being from the same team, even though Fergie didn't seem to realise that if you buy a lot of England internationals, that a lot of them might be called up to the squad at once. Tosser

Problem is that's where Spain's success lies, the core of that team is Barcelona. So everyone is screwed. England do not have players of that level of ability to be able to compete.

Spain can drop the likes of David Villa, Torres, Iniesta, Xavi and David Silva... And bring in Llorente, Soldado, Negredo (who has scored 5 in 7), Fabregas, Alonso, Santi Cazorla etc etc etc. Hell, if they wanted to rest Casillas, they could use Reina or Valdez ffs The strength in depth, not to mention the technical ability they have, is ridiculous.
England couldn't hope to get near that level at present. With only a couple of exceptions, they won't be for a long time either.
