I have a set of Stanley ones, Got them from B&Q a few years ago, still going strong and havn't aged or worn at all!

Also keep hold of the old ones for if you need to do any bashing or prying with a screwdriver!

Yeah I used to have a Halfords socket set, was pretty good IIRC, shame as I lost the bloody toolbox they were in and bought some Draper Expert ones online to replace them.

Use these myself, for a tenner you really can't go wrong.

Nice one Dave, just reserved myself a set of these and will go pick them up from my local Halfords later!

Also getting about 3% cashback through the Top Cashback site, bonus!

only thing i don't like with the halfords ones are some tight/seized screws get chewed up by them, as they aren't a true phillips type head (something like that anyway)

i use them for most things though

^^^This.

If you are using them for working on the car it'll be worthwhile to pick up a PH1 and PH2 while you're there, car manufacturers don't seem to use pozi much.

Pozidrive screws have another smaller groove in-between each of the four main ones, better for driving with a cordless. google images will probably explain better.
