I've been given a Scorpion Monza off a Corsa for Free!!!
Thought this is a fairly simple thing to fit myself. But have hit a few stumbling blocks which hopefully someone can help me with.
I went to Halfords to get some new rubber hangers and a clamp but no Halfords in the region has got the hangers in. So I thought balls to it I'll just reuse the existing ones.Should this really matter?
Now for the real problem,The Scorpion exhaust appears to have a 2 inch inlet tube(approx),The old exhaust seems to be a fair bit smaller when trying the 2inch clamp over it. Is the standard tube going to be smaller than that of the scorpion?Does anyone know the dimensions of the standard tubing?
Secondly the existing connection is rusted to buggery. I knew it was bad just by going on the condition of the exit tube on the backbox but this is encrusted very thick. The Clamp is almost indistinguishable. Would I have to resort to cutting this off? Or would alot of brute force and swearing ease it off.
Finally should I just get somewhere like Kwikfit to fit it for me? How much would it cost?

Well when i put my scorpion monzza on i had to welly the old one of, it had snapped of with rust, then i had to cut a inch or so of the middle pipe to get the box on Lee
