Right, got 2mm left on the fronts on my Zetec S. So wanting them changing ASAP.

Been thinking of getting either Yoko S-Drives or Toyo Proxies T1-Rs. Same sort of price as each other.

Also looked at Continental Contisport 3's, heard nothing but good stuff about them! But they're about £20 more expensive a tyre

What would be your choice? And what would you recommend? They're 195/45/16s. Thanks

Yeah i've looked at the Falkens as well, seem a little cheaper than the Yoko's or Toyo's as well. ZE912s?

i'd get the conti's personally. my brother had them on his vxr. when they wore down he put different tyres on. the car was completley different handling, the conti's are MUCH better

Yeah, my mate has them on his Mini. I told him they were the ones to go for, he says they're miles better than the Pirelli's he had on before.

Yeah i'd like the Conti's but i don't think i can justify the extra £20 a tyre. Although it doesn't sound much, we all have our budgets!

i know it sounds stupid. but like i said, if you can afford it then buy them, its the only thing between the car and road.
if you cant, then go down the price range.
tyres are always you pay for what you get

Yeah i know it's not something you should skimp on price wise, i never have done. I'd always have some Falken's or Yoko's over some Sunny's or Wanli's even if you can get them half the price

I've decided to go for the Continental SC 3s after my brother gave me a good quote! Only £25 more expensive for the pair than a quote I got for Yoko S-Drives

With tyres you pay for what you get, continentals are exceptionally good, perhaps you should look at a uniroyal? there a winter tyre and as winter is coming you may want to take it into consideration. there not an economy they are branded, and also come with an extra 1.5mm of tread than a conti, falken, toyo etc
