I bought a little corsa 8v x14sz as a non runner.
I have spark on all 4 and fuel is getting to the throttle body.
The fuel however, is not getting to the cylinders 1 - 3, only no 4. Strange as it's only got 1 injector.
When i turn it over with the plugs in, fuel sprays violently out of the throttle body and only no.4 plug gets wet.
When i turn it over with the plugs out, fuel sprays out of cylinder 4 only.
When i turn it over with the throttle open, it sets the tb on fire!
The timing appears fine and there are no woodruff key problems.
Any ideas please?

I have had the rocker cover off and turned the engine by hand and the valves don't appear to be sticking.
I've not tested the injector no. But it is injecting.....

Today i took the head off.
No bent valves but the pin that secures the cam pulley to the cam had sheared and there was loads of scoring on the end of the cam.
I got a new cam, lifters and housing from the scrap yard for £15 today.
Head gasket set with bolts for £25
So it'll be fixed tomorrow for £40.
